    HMS Jamaica

    Robert’s national service saw him take part in Operation Musketeer during the Suez Crisis.

    Frank loved the annual camps but unfortunately was injured in 1972, helping a cadet over the Thetford assault course.

    Lt. Col. Peter McMullen DSO & Bar

    Special Operations Executive:

    Force 133 & 1 Special Force
    Parent Regiment: The Hertfordshire Regiment

    Lt. Col. McMullen led Operations in the Greek Peloponnese and, in partnership with Ligurian partisans in Northwest Italy. Following his distinguished service, he returned to Hertford to run the family brewery.

    Private D.W. Stride

    – 1944

    7th Bn Somerset Light Infantry

    Private Stride died, aged 28, on 4.7.1944 at Tourville and is buried in the St Manvieu Commonwealth Cemetery in Cheux.
